Pete Swanson CEO

Pete Swenson serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Park Dental Partners, Inc. He has led the organization for over two decades, growing its doctor count from 98 to more than 200 and its team from hundreds to 1,400 members. Under his leadership, Park Dental Partners became a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ in December 2025. Prior to joining Park Dental, Swenson was VP of Market Development at American Dental Partners, where he helped grow the company from startup to over $300 million in revenues through its 1998 IPO. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Olaf College and has served on the boards of the American Academy of Dental Group Practice and Voyageurs National Park Association.

Christopher Bernander CFO

Christopher Bernander is the Chief Financial Officer of Park Dental Partners, joining the organization in 2022. He brings more than two decades of finance leadership experience across technology, consumer, and healthcare industries, having previously served as CFO and in financial leadership roles at Calabrio, Digital River, and Renaissance Learning. He began his career at Ernst & Young and Bemis Company (now Amcor) and is a Certified Public Accountant. Bernander holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Christopher E. Steele Chief Clinical Officer, General Practices

Dr. Chris Steele is the Chief Clinical Officer for General Practices at Park Dental Partners and has been with the organization since 1991. He oversees clinical standards, continuing education, and professional development for the organization's general dentist network and has served as president of the Park Dental general dental group since 2019. He continues to practice as a general dentist and serves as a director on the PDPI board. Steele holds a BS from Gustavus Adolphus College and a DDS from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he also completed a general practice residency.

Dr. Alan S. Law Chief Clinical Officer, Specialty Practices

Dr. Alan Law is the Chief Clinical Officer for Specialty Practices at Park Dental Partners, joining the organization in 1996 and serving as president of The Dental Specialists since 2003. A practicing endodontist, he is a past president of the American Association of Endodontists, American Board of Endodontics, and Minnesota Association of Endodontics, and has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. He holds his DDS, certificate in endodontics, and PhD in Mechanisms and Modulation of Orofacial Pain from the University of Iowa.
