Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva Founder & CEO

Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva founded MB2 Dental in 2007 after opening his own dental practice in Dallas at age 27. He received his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University. In the mid-2000s, Dr. Villanueva realized he wanted the benefits of a large group facility with the control and intimacy of a solo practice, something that didn't exist at the time, so he created it. He and his colleagues coined the term "Dental Partnership Organization" to describe the model, which MB2 pioneered. Known throughout the industry as "Dr. V," he is one of dentistry's most recognized founder-CEOs and a vocal advocate for preserving clinical autonomy in an increasingly consolidated market.

Justin Puckett President

Justin Puckett joined MB2 in 2013 after leaving a legal career focused on mergers and acquisitions at a large Dallas law firm. He encountered his first dental transaction while working on private equity deals and was recruited to serve as General Counsel at MB2 before eventually becoming President. He has been a key architect of MB2's growth strategy, partnership model, and culture throughout the company's expansion from 85 practices to 800+.

Jake Berry Chief Development Officer

Jake Berry has spent the last eight years at MB2 helping build the organization into one of the fastest-growing DPOs in the country. Before MB2, he served as a Marine for 10 years with multiple deployments, then transitioned into investment banking. His background shaped his leadership style and strategic approach to building doctor partnerships. He has overseen more than 550 closed transactions across all specialties and most of the country.

Susan Huff Chief Integration Officer

Susan Huff joined MB2 in May 2015 after 12 years at DentalOne Partners. She started as VP of Business Development, focused on scaling MB2's orthodontics business, then moved to VP of Operations before becoming Chief Integration Officer. She has been instrumental in building the integration process that onboards new doctor partners into the MB2 model.
