Dr. Rob Safrit CEO

Dr. Rob Safrit is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Family Dental Health, having led the organization since 2006. He attended NC State University for undergraduate and graduate degrees in Industrial Engineering before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Safrit co-founded Family Dental Health alongside Dr. Mike Twitchell after the two met in dental school, and together they grew the organization from a single Taylors, SC practice to a 50+ location group across the Carolinas and Georgia. He is active in community service through mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala and local programs including Dentistry from the Heart and the Greenville Free Medical Clinic.

Dr. Mike Twitchell Clinical Director

Dr. Mike Twitchell is the Clinical Director of Family Dental Health and co-founder of the organization. He earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. Over time, his role at Family Dental Health shifted from full-time patient care (2006 to 2015) to full-time operations management (2015 to present), spending most days in various practices working with doctors on their clinical objectives and career goals.
