About Uplift Literacy
Uplift Literacy is a organization that knows literacy is the cornerstone of lifelong success. They partner with schools in underserved communities to ensure students in grades K–3 gain the skills and support they need to read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade, a milestone proven to shape future educational development.
Through free, research-based tutoring programs, Uplift helps children make the critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn. Their impact goes beyond classrooms, by equipping families with literacy tools for home and distributing free books, they nurture a love for reading that lasts a lifetime.
How GoTu is Supporting the Mission
This year, we teamed up with Uplift Literacy to provide school supplies and book donations to local students. These resources don’t just fill backpacks and shelves. They fuel curiosity, boost confidence, and help kids build the foundation they need to thrive in school and beyond.
